Weight Watcher's diet

Weight watcher’s is a dozy of a diet; it’s based on the “flexpoint system”. They assign points to the food that you eat based on fat grams, calories, and fiber grams per serving. The plan allows you a certain amount of points to spend per day based on your present weight, and then they give you an extra 35 points a week to indulge in what you like.

So here’s the fun; you get to juggle the points booklet, and fumble through some mathematical calculations on what you can and cannot eat. It all sounds great, but really, if you spend your days at home and have nothing better to do than prepare food for yourself, well be my guest. I think it a great diet for someone who doesn’t have a lot to do in a day.

Be honest here, you work all day, you come home exhausted and you’re going to start counting those “points”? I didn’t think so. Besides, did you count those points when you had lunch with your coworkers or when you invited that special someone for diner, I didn’t think so either.

It seams all nice in theory, and probably for someone, as I said, who stays home mostly it wouldn’t be too bad. But I guess, since I’m still working and running around all day to get things done, I probably won’t get to try this one. Unless that Mega Bucks ticket kicks in, I’ll stick to a diet that I can do at home and on the run.
