Slim Fast diet

This diet is one of the old ones. I remember trying the Slim Fast shakes about 20 years ago, they worked well for me but like all diets or meal replacements, you have to balance the shakes, exercise, and healthy dieting.

The Slim Fast shakes are great, they taste good too and the Slim Fast plan promotes exercise and proper eating habits. You can have a shake for breakfast, one for lunch with fruit or a nutrition bar, and a healthy diner. But keep in mind, like all diets; it takes will power to stay on the plan.

Too many people go nuts trying to replace all meals with the shake, making it a total liquid diet. Not a good thing! The Slim Fast plan will promote regular exercise and a well balanced diet for the remaining meals. So guess what folks! You still have to change your eating habits. You just can’t have 2 shakes and eat an extra large pizza with cheese for diner. You have to learn to balance your meals and drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. You can be on this plan and have a regular diner with moderate portions. You can even incorporate Slim Fast shake with a low fat or low carb diet.

I figure that with will power, the fun is in knowing your body and how it functions so that you can assimilate all the vitamins and minerals you need. It’s also better for you if you stay active, and by active, I mean taking walks, playing sports. It doesn’t necessarily mean hitting the gym 5 days a week. Then again if that’s what you like! Why not?
