This topic is hard to grasp for a lot of people. Any diet plan, and I mean any, will always recommend regular exercise. Now I know that for many of us, being active can be a little tough. You work all day, come home tired etc…
But being active can be defined in many ways.
All it takes is the will power to start doing something. Now, before I go any further, and all depending on your health, I would recommend a physical exam by a physician. As an example, it’s
not too bright to start taking fat burners and hitting the
gym like a crazy person if you have a heart condition. So after the exam with all your vital info in hand, start moving. I can be as little as a small walk or replacing the car by a bike or even taking the stairs instead of the elevator. You’ll notice that after a while, your energy level will build up and you’ll probably be motivated into doing a little more.
If you decide to go to the gym, pretty much all the respectable facilities have trainers and people who will make you an exercise program that you can follow. Now, these people are professionals, so follow their recommendations. If you take this seriously, these trainers can follow your progress and even modify your routine according to your progress.
But I have to tell you, if you’re a male reader, put the macho ego aside and listen to the trainer. Too many times I’ve seen guys hitting the gym and saying to the trainer “no problem I know what I’m doing” and all of a sudden they see that cute girl training next to them and they try to bench press 250 pounds. They often end up with a crushed rib cage. So please listen to the trainers, they will put you on the right track and all you have to do is take it one step at a time.
Ok, for those of you who want to exercise at home, there is a multitude of exercise equipment available on the market. Some are great, some are not. If you’re going to buy gym equipment, get good advice and shop around. This can cost you a pretty penny. The main thing here is to make time to train in your home, build up a routine and stick to it. I know that you can find hundreds of exercises on the web, but try to get some advice on the ones that are good for you and the goals you want to achieve.
To sum this up, all of the above are good as long as you build up the motivation to stick to the plan. A well planed exercise routine along with a good diet can go a long way in achieving your goals. So stick with it and for God’s sake, don’t buy that electric ab's shocker, besides making your belly red, it won’t do a thing for you.
