Blood type diet is totally
created according to your blood group. It focuses on proper
nutrition of the body. Most of the population has blood
type O. Here the prescribed diet is low-carbohydrate, high
in proteins (such as meat and fish), and low in dairy and grain
products. The author suggests specific foods to avoid; such as
avocados, brazil nuts, and oranges. Type O should also engage in
lots of exercise and thrive on animal proteins. The leading
factor in weight gain for Type Os is the gluten found in wheat
germ and whole wheat products. Type O have a tendency to have
low levels of thyroid hormone and unstable thyroid functions,
which cause metabolic problems and weight gain. Type O have high
stomach-acid content, can digest meat easily. Their muscle
tissues are generally on the acid side. They can easily make use
of meaty foods because of high-acid content in their stomach,
which enables easy digestion and metabolism.

Eat Right 4 Your Type
by Peter J. D'Adamo
|
Blood Type A
is the best on vegetarian diet and should avoid red meat, eat
plenty of fish and vegetables, with a low dairy intake. A can be
considered the opposite of Type Os in quite a few
ways. People with Type A blood can be more susceptible to heart
disease, cancer, and diabetes.
Blood Type B
should avoid chicken and bacon, eat plenty of meat and dairy,
some fish, and plenty of fruit and vegetables. a complete and
balanced diet of vegetables, cereals, fruits and meat is
recommended for these people.
Blood Type AB combines the A and B diets. Hence the best diet
suggested for Type ABs is meat without chicken, dairy products
(but not in excess), nut and seed (in cautionary amounts), and
wheat products (when in control).
